National Pipe Trades Human Resources Committee (NPTHRC) Inventory of Training for the Pipe Trades

The National Pipe Trades Human Resources Committee (NPTHRC) has been established as a joint employer/ employee group, as an outcome of the 1997 "Pipe Trades National Human Resources Needs Analysis" report (click here for Executive Summary or Full Report).  NPTHRC will establish linkages among industry partners and encourage, facilitate and promote industry change based on the study’s recommendations.  Where circumstances warrant NPTHRC will prepare additional action-oriented recommendations, with input from subject matter experts on issues affecting certification, standards, mobility, training and curriculum for all trade classifications within the piping trades.

This is an inventory of training opportunities for workers in the pipe trades.  It is updated continually, and currently contains over 2000 items. Data for this inventory is from community colleges, individual contributions by NPTHRC Committee members, the Commission de la Construction du Quebec (CCQ), and private trainers.

Training providers are continually updating their course offerings. Individuals using this database should therefore contact training providers in their area to receive most current information.
