Chris Bridge

ECONOMIST

Chris Bridge is an Economist at Prism Economics and Analysis. He has completed a B.A. and an M.A in economics at Wilfred Laurier University and the University of Western Ontario respectively. During his career, he has specialized in examining the effects of immigration and trade shocks on local labour market outcomes. This research has involved the application of advanced quantitative analysis to determine the effect of trade liberalization and changes in immigration policy on labour market outcomes such as labour productivity, employment, and wages. His training at the University of Western Ontario has also equipped Chris with a modern understanding of trade and labour market theory such as labour search and monopsonistic competition models.
