John O’Grady

John O’Grady is a founding Partner at Prism Economics and Analysis. He is the principal author of more than 50 research reports on human resources planning and related policy issues. John has also published studies with the International Labour Office (ILO), the C. D. Howe Institute, the B.C. Royal Commission on Workers Compensation, the Fraser Institute and the Economic Council of Canada. John has supported numerous unions in wage bargaining, arbitrations and submissions to governments.  Prior to commencing a full-time consulting career in 1990, he worked for the Ontario Federation of Labour, the Canadian Labour Congress, the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union.  He has also taught industrial relations courses at two Ontario universities, and is the author of several published articles on industrial relations and human resource management issues. John has served as an executive member for various research and social organizations, including the North-South Institute, the Institute for Work and Health, ORTECH Corporation and the Toronto Business Development Centre.
